I cannot believe that it has been a whole year since I started my company! It’s quite surreal, especially considering that this is my first official article for the company.
It’s entirely ironic that, over the past year, the one thing that I have stressed to my clients is to not let marketing sit on the backburner and, somehow, I’ve managed to do just that.
In the whirlwind of everyday life, it's so easy to let those seemingly "less important" tasks slide down the to-do list. But it's often those little things that will make the biggest difference in the long run, especially when it comes to growing a successful business.
If you're finding yourself in the same boat, with marketing or any other vital business activity taking a backseat, let's chat! I'm offering free consultations to see how I can help lighten your workload and make your to-do list a little more manageable. Just email me at harry@harryjanssen.co.uk, and let's tackle those tasks together.
What have I been up to?
As I celebrate this milestone, I’m taking a moment to share the three most amazing experiences and unforgettable moments that have made this year truly special and caused marketing my business to slip down the to do list!
I Graduated
After three challenging yet incredibly rewarding years, this year I graduated from the University of Worcester with an LLB with Honours.
My time at university was an amazing experience and I am so grateful to the people that supported me throughout. It was whilst I was at university, and thanks to those supporting me, that I felt confident enough to try running my own company.
I Moved to Australia
In 2020, I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to travel to Bathurst, NSW, Australia as part of the Cirencester Bathurst Friendship's Young Person’s Exchange and—after finishing university—2023 was the year that I finally got to go!
Whilst in Bathurst, I have started to put my LLB to good use by working as a paralegal at Kenny Spring Solicitors.
The Bathurst Cycling Festival Launched in Australia
Since January 2023, I have been helping to develop and market the Bathurst Cycling Festival—a unique set of cycling events based on the Cirencester Bathurst Friendship Initiative with the inaugural in-person event happening in Cirencester and Bathurst on the same day!
Working on the Festival has been an exciting challenge and I cannot wait for the events in May!
It has been an absolute pleasure to meet, work, and collaborate with so many amazing people over this past year. I cannot put into words how excited I am to be going into the second year of Harry Janssen Marketing and Business Support.
