My journey into marketing began during my secondary school years in Cirencester, where I developed a passion for creating websites after discovering the skills in computer science class. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a sole trading venture, offering guidance on website creation and design. Over the years, I expanded my services, including the development of bespoke software, such as e-commerce systems, drawing on my computer science background.

During college, I was honoured to be selected for the Cirencester Bathurst Friendship’s Young Person’s Exchange, although the opportunity was delayed by the pandemic. In the meantime, I contributed to the initiative by working on several projects, including the Cirencester Climate Conference. This event, held at Cirencester College, engaged local secondary students in addressing key climate change issues through research and collaboration. I was proud to present the conference, gaining invaluable business development experience in the process.

While studying for my law degree at the University of Worcester, I decided to put my marketing and business development expertise to greater use by launching Harry Janssen Marketing and Business Development. I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from sole traders to SMEs, in industries such as law, accounting, fitness, events, and the charity sector. My services span from website creation and social media management to email, print marketing, and business strategy development, helping businesses at any stage, whether they are just starting out or aiming to grow.

After graduating with honours, I finally embarked on my journey to Bathurst, NSW, as part of the Cirencester Bathurst Friendship. I’ve been actively involved in projects such as the Bathurst Cycling Festival, which connects Cirencester and Bathurst through a series of cycling events, including the headline Gravel Race. Hosting the international livestream that linked the two towns was a highlight for me. In addition, I now work as a paralegal at Kenny Spring Solicitors, assisting the Family Law team in making legal services more accessible and stress-free. I also support their marketing efforts.

Today, I’m proud to help businesses in both the UK and Australia with their marketing and business development, making their goals easier to achieve.
